Noticeboard

Unfortunately it has been confirmed by NHS Mail that on Friday 27th September 2019 the Hedon Group Practice email inbox was subject to a Phishing Campaign.  This happened as a result of receiving an email from a trusted source who had also unknowingly become a victim of the campaign.  According to NHS Mail this was a credential harvesting campaign only and they have not been made aware of any further data being captured.  The incident has also been reported to the Information Commissioners Office. We deeply regret any inconvenience this has caused to our patients.

Exciting opportunity to join a new and innovative practice as a Partner or Salaried GP that will allow individualised career development

Church View Surgery, Hedon Group Practice and South Holderness Medical Practice came together on 1st October 2018 to form Holderness Health.

We aim to build on our existing strengths to develop a sustainable practice for the future. We want to retain core GP values, such as the doctor-patient relationship, in the ever changing world of Primary Care.

To help develop our services further we are looking for a GP Partner or Salaried GP. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to join a new and dynamic practice. General Practitioners will be encouraged to develop/enhance specialist interests whether that is clinical, teaching or management, but if an applicant wishes to spend their time in direct patient care, we also welcome this addition to our team.

We have the scale, diversity and breadth of skills within our large team to help you to develop your career, pursue areas of interest and take advantage of the opportunities we offer.

We are interested in both experienced GPs who might desire a career change and newly qualified GPs. For newly qualified GPs, mentoring will be provided to support you through the transition from the VTS.

We employ a diverse clinical team that includes nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physiotherapist ACP and paramedic ACP. We are the first Primary Care Home site in the East Riding and are committed to working with local partners. The practice has a number of leadership roles across the local NHS and has a proud history of innovation in education. We are a champion for associates in training and first 5 GPs for the Yorkshire and Humber clinical research network and are the most active research practice in the Hull and East Riding area.

We are now the largest practice in the East Riding of Yorkshire and we have significant ambitions for the future. Our practice comprises:

  • Approximately 36,000 patients
  • A diverse clinical team incorporating a strong skill-mix
  • Over 120 staff 20 GP Partners
  • 3 main sites and 4 branch sites

Please contact Lynne Bates on 01964 611621 or email lynnebates@nhs.net to discuss this opportunity with a GP Partner.
